Please be advised that a mask mandate has been reinstated by BC Ministry of Health.
Effective Immediately, all patients, healthcare professionals and non-clinical health care worker within the Health Department must wear a medical mask at all times.
This includes all clinical health care workers that provide direct patient care and administration within the health department.
This guidance is based on current evidence about the known mechanisms for transmitting Influenza, RSV and COVID-19.
Children under 5yrs of age will not be required to mask.
For the increased safety for our medically vulnerable patients. Please do not walk through the health department if you are feeling unwell or have any respiratory symptoms including (sneezing, coughing, runny nose).
If you are a patient in the health department we please ask that you mask up upon entering the department and keep your mask on while in the waiting room/hall, and inside the clinic space.

Notification will be sent out when the mask mandate has been cancelled.
