Simpcw has inherent and unextinguished Title and Rights to the land and resources in Simpcwúl̓ecw (Simpcw Territory), which is within Secwepemcúlecw (Secwépemc Territory).

As our natural laws, stories, and teachings direct us, we have a responsibility to continue to look after our tmicw (which in Simpcw worldview includes land, air, minerals, water and resources, people, etc.).

We are beginning our journey of creating a vision and guiding principles of the Simpcwúl̓ecw Stewardship Plan to govern and care for our Territory, which is in direct relationship to our health, well-being, and identity as Símpcwemc (Simpcw people).
