Public Works

Simpcw First Nation’s Public Works Department is responsible for the up keep and maintenance of all band-owned infrastructure on the Chu Chua Reserve. In addition to ensuring that the Band Office and grounds are kept safe and visually appealing, this Department is also in charge of making sure Community roads are graded, and the Community Water systems are functioning effectively. The Public Works Department also works very hard to ensure that our public recreation sites are available for community events and seasonal activities, such as the ball field, and hiking trails throughout the area.
