Simpcw Mountain Bike Trails
The Simpcw Mountain Bike trails extend all the way from McBride to Barriere.
In 2016 the Simpcw partnered with Western Canada Mountain Bike Tourism Association in order to develop a strategy to support the Mountain Bike Recreation & Tourism Development throughout Simpcwúl̓ecw (Simpcw Territory). This project provided the Simpcw community with strategies and action plans necessary to take leadership in the development of trails and mountain bike recreation and tourism in Simpcwúl̓ecw.
This project brought together communities throughout the McBride to Barriere Corridor in order to identify opportunities and strategies to support Mountain Bike recreation and tourism development.
The trails are now finished and displayed on “Trailforks” in detail.
